We\u2019ve just donated items to the 31st final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which we hope, will make your hearts warm enough to help people in need! \ufe0fWhat can you bid? Well, the only one in Poland, and probably the only one in the world: a heart made of 14-carat gold with graphene G-Flake\u00ae and a heart made of silver with the addition of graphene and a pinch of glitter \u2013 let the magic happen! They have been created with love, by two Krakow jewelers: the gold one \u2013 Grzegorz Tryjefaczka, and the silver one \u2013 Piotr Tomaszewski + Rafa\u0142 Puchlik.<\/p>\n

Some other items which our Institue has provided and which you can bid on at the WO\u015aP auctions include:<\/p>\n

– a stained glass window in the shape of a snowy owl, as magical as the one from “Harry Potter”, made of silicon wafers, by Dr. Micha\u0142 Wiatrowski from WIATRAK composites;<\/p>\n

– a 50cm x 70cm poster showing colorized SEM images;<\/p>\n

– and 2 tours of the microelectronics and photonics laboratories of our research groups: Infrared Photonics and GaN-based Devices, Sensors, Thin-film Structures and Porous Materials Auctions will be published soon on the Allegro portal. Follow us to stay up to date!<\/p>\n
