They used attoseconds pulses [an attosecond is a one quintillionth of a second = 10^(-18)] in their research. Imagine &#8211; having a photo camera where its shutter opens for such a short time&#8230; A blurred photo would be out of the question! And seriously &#8211; thanks to such tools we can study extremely short phenomena inside the molecules. Looks complicated?
