The host of the meeting was the Head of the Laboratory of Spectroscopy, Anatolijs \u0160arakovskis and his team, especially Meldra \u0136emere.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the LumAI project, \u0141ukasiewicz-IMiF, together with other partners: a Polish company from Cracow &#8211; 3D-nano, a research institute from Latvia: Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia and partners from Lithuania: Vilnius University and the Gars\u0173 Pasaulis company, are carrying out research on luminescent tagging of documents and methods of their verification using a smartphone application.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience related to the specialties of the consortium members: from materials engineering, through spectroscopic measurement techniques, to optoelectronics software. The work carried out in the last few months was summarized and the research plan for the near future was made. Another important part of the meeting was a tour of the research infrastructure of the Laboratory of Spectroscopy ISSP UL.<\/p>\n<p>Project LumAI was selected in the Joint Transnational Call 2022 of M-ERA.NET 3, which is an EU-funded network of about 49 funding organisations (Horizon 2020 grant agreement No 958174). The project is funded by the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) in Poland, Latvian Council of Science (LZP) in Latvia and Research Council of Lithuania (LMT) in
