Summer is over! Jarosław Tarenko, Magdalena Zadura, Aleksandra Wójcicka, Patrycja Barańczyk, Karolina Bogdanowicz are already back home after their busy holiday. This summertime, they participated in the Taiwan-Europe Semiconductor Short-term Training Program 2023, which focused on semiconductor technology. The classes were held at Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, which cooperates with TSMC, one of the largest enterprises in the world producing integrated circuits. Did you know that TSMC is the main manufacturer of components for Apple and Samsung?

The program took place in the city of Xinzhu – commonly called the „Silicon Valley of Asia.” As part of the program, our young talented researchers took part in, among others: on trips to university laboratories, listened to lectures on the optimization of technological processes, and also learned about local customs and tried traditional Taiwanese cuisine.
