Pictured above, is our Director with Professor Hiroshi Amano who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2014 for “the invention of efficient blue light-emitting diodes which has enabled bright and energy-saving white light sources.”
If you work in our industry, you’ll obviously know the answer to the following question. What is a better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary than meeting world-class experts in semiconductors, including a Nobel Prize winner, in a beautiful Staszic Palace in Warsaw which history dates back to 1620?
Last Friday, Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics Managing Director Bolesław Kołodziejczyk took part in the 50th anniversary of the Institute of High Pressure Physics (IHPP), Polish Academy of Science, also known as “Unipress”. The event aimed to present the Institute’s position against the background of world achievements in the fields of Unipress research activity.
We are looking forward to further fruitful cooperation with Unipress and support from Prof. Amano on our projects.
