GET® and G-Flake® in a public workshop on May 16, 2024
The EMMC ASBL – European Materials Modelling Council (EMMC) and the QWED Sp. z o.o. organize an online public workshop on the current results of the EMMC-related I4BAGS initiative on
May 16, 2024, 14:00 – 17:00 CEST
(https://emmc.eu/i4bags-public-workshop-may-2024/).

The online public workshop offers an opportunity to hear from the GET® and G-Flake® scientists on:
Reduced graphene oxide-based electrodes: application perspectives in novel energy storage systems by Agata Romanowska
Ion implantation for graphene-enabled magnetic diagnostics: application perspectives in modern fusion reactors by Tymoteusz Ciuk.

The I4BAGS, or Ion Implantation for Innovative Interface modifications in BAttery and Graphene-enabled Systems, is an international consortium of Belgian (Materia Nova, IONICS) and Polish partners (QWED, Łukasiewicz-IMiF) within the M-ERA.NET Call 2021 program.

The EMMC considers the integration of materials modeling and digitalization critical for more agile and sustainable product development. Created in 2014, the EMMC undertook numerous consultation and networking actions with representatives of all stakeholders, including modelers, materials data scientists, software owners, translators, and manufacturers across Europe (https://emmc.eu/i4bags-public-workshop-may-2024/).

The I4BAGS consortium is led by Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics and it aims to develop innovative processing and characterization solutions for microelectronics and battery applications.
