Does anyone here have plans for September? Let us highlight the 3 upcoming events, in which we’re going to take part very soon: Graphene Week, MSPO, and SEMICON Taiwan.
ℹ Graphene Week takes place between 4th and 8th September. This event brings together European researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to transfer knowledge towards bringing up novel ideas to create innovative graphene products for the worldwide market. Tymoteusz Ciuk, PhD will give a presentation highlighting his recent research and Jakub Jagiełło and Artur Dobrowolski will take part in a poster session.
ℹ Next up, between 5th and 8th, there is the 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), where military equipment will be showcased as well as business meetings and contracts can be concluded between defense sector manufacturers from various parts of the world. Our researcher – Grzegorz Sobczak, PhD, will present our technologies there alongside the Commercialization and Marketing Departments.
ℹ Finally, held between September 6th and 8th, Piotr J. Cywiński i Marek Ekielski will participate in SEMICON TAIWAN 2023. The trade fair will focus on advanced manufacturing, heterogeneous integration, compound semiconductors, automotive chips, smart manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing, and semiconductor cybersecurity. At SEMICON, we will be showcasing our range of products, including (QCL) quantum cascade lasers, GaN transistors, smart lighting systems, hall sensors, and photodiodes. Through our presence, we aim to highlight that Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics is not only about semiconductors but also about photonics! Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz delegation led by Minister Wojciech Murdzek accompanied by Łukasiewicz Vice-president Marcin Kraska will open, first in our history, Polish Pavilion at SEMICON.
The Polish stand was organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) together with partners: Klaster Mikroelektroniki, Elektroniki i Fotoniki, Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A., Polski Fundusz Rozwoju S.A. (PFR), Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz.
