Last week, Łukasiewicz Research Network had the pleasure of hosting very special guests – our partners from the Finnish research network VTT. The delegation, led by VTT CEO Antti Vasara, took a demanding tour of 5 Łukasiewicz institutes.

Our guests were interested in how to approach the commercialization of R&D project results and the competence centers structure to be established in the EU Member States for the implementation of the European Chips Act. We must add, that a lively conversation took place during the presentation on current trends in our technological areas of interest.

Our representatives Piotr Cywiński, the leader of the Commercialization Department, alongside Jakub Kaczmarski both took part in one of the meetings and presented the research activities at Łukasiewicz – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics and vision for the development of the microelectronics industry in Poland.

Dear VTT, we are looking forward to a fruitful cooperation within EU projects and beyond!
