It is not a coincidence that the Polish-German BRIDGE CONFERENCE 2023 has been organized in the palace in Krzyżowa, in a building of historical significance, which is a symbol of Polish-German cooperation. It is in this beautiful scenery, that a meeting of scientific and industrial environments took place. Much has been said about strengthening cooperation on:
– technology in public security,
– health and food protection,
– micro and nanoelectronics,
– energy transition and circular economy.
The welcome session was honored by Minister W. Murdzek. Following which the president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, A. Dybczyński, during his speech at the welcome session, challenged our German partners, offering funding for leaders of research groups implementing joint projects. The challenge has been taken up by prof. Lothar Kroll (TU Chemnitz, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft) who promised to speed up activities in raising funds by the German side.
What was next? Both Polish and German research centers presented their achievements and plans for development research and implementation. There was a lot of talk about sensor technology based on MEMS technology, QC lasers, and more In the on micro- and nanoelectronics panel. Guess what? Our technologies!
It is worth mentioning that prof. Piotr Rojek of Karol Lipiński Music Academy in Wrocław has narrated the history of the Organs of Michael Engler, the Younger, of the Basilica of St. st. Elżbieta Węgierska in Wrocław as an example of the humanization of technology.
Since we have mentioned music – the conference participants have had the great pleasure to listen to the Vienna Concert performed by a string quartet. We simply loved it!
